My Emergency Code (MEC)

This is an easy way to give the police or emergency services the necessary information they urgent need in the event of an emergency or accident. Indispensable in every vehicle and sometimes vital.

It also gives the medical staff an immediate picture of the passengers in a vehicle, age, blood type, possible allergies, etc… . First responders can act accurate because of this information. 

The police who come to make the determinations immediately have a clear picture of who it is, and they also immediately see who needs to be notified and all insurance information. 

The QR code can be scanned by any smart phone on the market or with a QR scan. This saves a lot of time and provides important information to them. In addition, there is also the information of all other possible usual passengers.

Emergency services can also easily save all this information (screenshots) or forward them to an email address through the simple forward button.

You can also always adjust and update the data in your personal account, simply by logging in to your account.

You can get the MEC stickers package (sometimes for free) from some insurance companies or garage owners. You can always order them through this website or buy them in the auto shops, gas shops.

A package always consists of 2 stickers, each with a QR code.
You only need to scan and register this QR code on the sticker once. After all, both QR codes are the same.

The QR codes are valid for 3 years as standard. One month before the expiry date you will receive an email with an expiry date of your code. Since this can sometimes end up in your spam, we advise you to put the date of the expiry date in your agenda, so that you can carry out the extension yourself on our platform if you want to. You can renew from as little as €0.35 / per month.

Privacy rules regarding the stored information: As a user, you decide for yourself which data the emergency services will see. You therefore only enter what you want them to see. Since the MEC sticker is inside the car, the QR code cannot be scanned in fact from the outside.
